transformation No.5

In this series, I am exploring the idea that existence is an eternal act of transformation. As a sculptor, I am questioning the futility of seeking to create something permanent when existence is inherently impermanent. A glass window alludes to a sedentary life. It is an object that protects one from the vagaries of the natural world. It exists to preserve and to demarcate yet at the same time it is a fragile membrane, prone to shatter.

2013 / glass, frame / plane : 4×15×8cm, frame : 32×23×2cm
